Health, Safety & Risk
Fire Prevention and Safety
Online course
CareCPD accredited
Included with Nest Learn
Standard fire safety training assumes everyone walks calmly to the assembly point. In a children's home, a young person may hide, refuse to leave, or have set the fire.
This course covers the fundamentals — how fires start, common hazards, prevention and correct use of firefighting equipment — and then addresses the part that actually decides the outcome: evacuating children who are frightened, resistant or have additional needs.
