Health, Safety & Risk
Emergency First Aid
Emergency first aid written specifically for children's residential care, where the casualty may be a distressed young person and the responder is the person who knows them best. Built around current Resuscitation Council UK and NICE guidance, it covers the ABCDE approach, CPR, AED use and choking, then moves through time-critical medical emergencies, injury and trauma, and mental health and substance-related crises.
It also covers the parts most first aid courses skip: consent, infection control, records, and Ofsted notifications.
