These terms apply when you use our website, nest-care.co.uk, or the Nest Learn app in ChatGPT. By using either, you agree to them.
If your organisation has a written agreement with us for Nest Learn, that agreement takes priority over these terms wherever the two differ.
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information.
Using our website
- Our guides, resources and templates give general information about training and regulation in children's residential care. They are not legal or professional advice. Check anything important against the current regulations and guidance before you rely on it.
- We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that every page reflects the latest changes in law or guidance.
- The website's content belongs to Nest Care Solutions Ltd or to the people who license it to us. You may view, download and print pages and resources for use within your own organisation. Please do not sell or republish them without our permission.
- Do not misuse the website, for example by trying to get into parts of it you are not meant to reach, introducing malicious code or deliberately overloading it.
- We are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to.
Using the Nest Learn app in ChatGPT
The Nest Learn app is for Provider Senior Managers and Home Managers who already have a Nest Learn account. It is only available in the UK. When you use it:
- Sign in only with your own Nest Learn login, and keep your login details to yourself.
- Use the app only for your work with the organisation that gave you your Nest Learn account.
- Do not try to see or change information your Nest Learn role does not allow, or to get round the app's controls.
- Check each preview before you approve it. A change you approve is made in Nest Learn, just as if you had made it there yourself.
- ChatGPT's replies are written by an AI model and can be wrong. Check anything important in Nest Learn before you rely on it.
The app always follows your current role and Homes in Nest Learn, and stops working straight away if that access is removed. You can disconnect it at any time in ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI. OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of ChatGPT, including the information the app returns to your conversation. If you use a ChatGPT workspace managed by your organisation, your organisation's agreement with OpenAI applies instead.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw the website or the app, for example for maintenance or security. We may suspend someone's use of the app if we believe they are misusing it.
We may update these terms. The latest version will always be on this page.
Our responsibility to you
We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on the general information on our website.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute about them.
