Completing this training meets the Prevent Duty requirement placed on specified authorities by the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015. Developed from HM Government's e-learning, it introduces radicalisation and extremism in all its forms, the four key stages by which someone is drawn in, and the protective factors that reduce vulnerability.
It closes with the practical referral process, from identifying a concern to recording it and notifying the home's DSL.

What this course covers
- Explain what radicalisation and extremism are and describe the four key stages of radicalisation.
