Safeguarding & Child Protection
Online Safety
Online course
CareCPD accredited
Included with Nest Learn
This course takes the position that digital life is largely positive and that scaremongering makes young people less likely to tell you anything. It covers the platforms and games young people actually use, what they are exposed to, and the specific risks of sexting, cyberbullying and compulsive use — including how to get an explicit image removed.
Throughout it focuses on how to have the conversation rather than how to impose a ban.
