Safeguarding & Child Protection
Ofsted: Sexual Abuse in Schools and Colleges
Online course
CareCPD accredited
Included with Nest Learn
Following Everyone's Invited, Ofsted spoke to more than 900 children about sexual harassment and sexual violence in their lives. This course summarises what that review found — how normalised peer-on-peer abuse has become, how much of it happens online, and why children so rarely report it — and translates the recommendations into practice for residential care.
It gives particular attention to why looked-after children face elevated risk.
