Supervision Development
Supervision is where poor practice is either corrected or quietly normalised, yet many supervisors avoid the part that matters because giving feedback is uncomfortable. This course covers the purpose and legislative basis of supervision, what to cover, including development, wellbeing and safeguarding, and how to record it.
It then works on the skill itself: crafting a constructive message, and handling the silent, defensive, tearful or angry reactions that follow.
