Professional Practice
Complaints & Allegations
Online course
CareCPD accredited
Included with Nest Learn
Every allegation against someone who works with children must be handled quickly, fairly and consistently — protecting the child while treating the person accused properly. This course takes you through the full consideration process, from initial assessment and LADO involvement to suspension decisions, unfounded allegations and resignations mid-process.
It also covers the complaints procedure from the child's side: how young people are told about it, and the timescales for resolution.
