Ofsted Research: Achieving Stability and Permanence
Built on Ofsted's research study into how local authorities and children's homes achieve stability and permanence for children with complex needs. The course unpacks why "complex needs" is such an unhelpful umbrella term, why homes decline the referrals they decline, and what actually holds a placement together: consistent relationships, good transitions, and real access to education and mental health support.
Throughout, it uses quotes and case studies from young people and professionals.
